Writing

Stages of pencil grip

So that children can write fluidly, comfortably, neatly and with their letters all formed correctly, it is important that they develop a good pencil grip.  In the Early Years we help children develop their muscles which help them with their writing. We provide children with lots of gross motor and fine motor activities which help build the foundations to gaining a pencil hold which will enable them to produce some beautiful Balderstone writing!
