Thank you for visiting our school website. My name is Victoria Gow and I have the privilege of being the headteacher of Balderstone St Leonard's CE Primary. Our school is a very special place to teach, work and learn and we consider ourselves a small school but with a very great heart: a heart for God, a heart for learning and a heart for each other.  Our school is a family. As such, we offer our families a warm welcome and the close, Christian relationship between our staff and children means that we know all our children and families very well. As a church school everything we do is firmly rooted in our distinctive Christian beliefs and values. We provide a safe, nurturing environment, where every child can feel happy and be encouraged to believe in themselves and excel in body, mind and spirit. We offer a diverse and creative curriculum so that every child can develop a love of learning and be encouraged to fulfill their God-given potential.
